The East Bay Municipal Utility District issued an alert—Thursday, December 17, now updated—that there was a sewage spill in the Alameda Lagoon near Robert Davey Jr. Drive and Packet Landing Road. EBMUD is investigating the cause of the spill, and residenta are advised to stay out of the water until further notice.
