San Francisco Baykeeper and Bay Delta advocates are asking state and federal wildlife regulators to list the White Sturgeon as a threatened species. White Sturgeon are the largest freshwater fish in the nation and their population is in trouble. Excess water diversions, harmful algal blooms and overfishing are the reasons cited for the listing request. Vic Bedoian reports from Fresno.
