A Wednesday morning fire near a South San Francisco marina injured one person, destroyed at least three boats, and prompted environmental crews to respond and prevent contaminants from spreading into the Bay. South San Francisco Fire Department firefighters were sent to the Oyster Cove Marina just before 7:30 a.m. on reports of a blaze engulfing at least three boats tied together and anchored a short distance from the marina, the department’s Deputy Chief Matt Samson said.
