Do you love San Francisco Bay? Do you want to see the Bay pollution-free, with healthy wildlife? Do you want to support a powerful local cause? Then mark your calendar for the fourth annual Bay Parade on Sunday, July 9, when you can join San Francisco Baykeeper on the water for an unforgettable day on the Bay.

You have lots of ways to join the Bay Parade. You can swim 6.5 miles (solo or in a relay team) along the San Francisco city waterfront from the Golden Gate Bridge to McCovey Cove. You can kayak or stand-up paddleboard 2.5 miles along the San Francisco waterfront. You can bring your motorboat, sailboat or rowboat and volunteer for swimmer support. Or you can celebrate with us on dry land at the Bay Parade party, with tasty bites and bottomless beer from Anchor Brewing.

All on-the-water participants will come together in McCovey Cove for the spectacular Bay Parade finale. If you’ve ever wanted to make it to the big screen, this is your chance. The finale will be broadcast on the ballpark Jumbotron at the start of the Giants home game.

And the fastest swimmer, fastest relay team and biggest fundraiser will be honored at the Bay Parade party. Their names will also be engraved on the Golden Rivet Award plaque, beneath a Golden Gate Bridge rivet cast in gold.

Beyond the fun time and great community celebration, the Bay Parade supports a crucial cause—Baykeeper’s mission to protect San Francisco Bay from pollution.

Come celebrate a San Francisco Bay that’s safe and healthy for recreation—with a fun, active day on the water.Register for the Bay Parade today at baykeeper.org/bayparade. And see you on July 9!
