The Trump administration this week declared that its plan to pump more water from the Bay-Delta will not jeopardize endangered species... But Jon Rosenfield, a senior scientist with the environmental group San Francisco Baykeeper, said marginal gains from the plan won’t be worth the harm to endangered species. “They’re going to cause more harm to species that are already circling the drain just so they can get a little more water,” he said.
