The 6th Annual Environmental Justice Summit

Our Partnership with Hip Hop for Change and RyanNicole

This year we're launching an exciting collaboration with Hip Hop for Change and GRAMMY-nominated artist RyanNicole Austin to connect local frontline communities with Baykeeper’s special brand of legal and scientific activism.

Hip Hop for Change logoRyanNicole's new musical creation will help encourage local youth, community activists, and HipHop audiences to take action for communities of color living and playing around the Bay.

The new song will premiere on August 20 at the Environmental Justice Summit in San Francisco, where RyanNicole will perform the piece—called Small but Mighty—inspired by a recent Baykeeper boat patrol!

And you can join us—registration is free for all ages!

This project was made possible in part by a grant from The Creative Work Fund, a program of the Walter and Elise Haas Fund that also is supported by The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation

There are lots of ways you can help protect San Francisco Bay and the communities that rely on a healthy environment, including advocating for the cleanup of toxic sites.
