Join Baykeeper for California Coastal Cleanup Day On September 21!

Sep 9, 2013

Baykeeper is hosting a beach cleanup at India Basin Shoreline Park on Saturday, September 21, 9 AM to Noon, to target the serious marine debris problem that disproportionately affects San Francisco’s eastern shoreline. California Coastal Cleanup Day is the state's largest single effort to remove the debris that has accumulated on beaches and inland shorelines over the past year, bringing tens of thousands of volunteers out annually to protect the marine wildlife and habitat that can be badly damaged by marine debris.

India Basin Shoreline Park is located in San Francisco's Bayview/Hunters Point neighborhood and is a thriving recreational destination in the community. The park is located on Hunters Point Boulevard at Hawes Street and is accessible by MUNI lines 19 and 44.
