Baykeeper Seeks Volunteer Pollution Investigators

Aug 7, 2012

Are you interested in getting out in the field for a healthy Bay? Baykeeper seeks Volunteer Pollution Investigators to help us find out which industrial facilities are polluting San Francisco Bay.

We’re looking for volunteers who can work up to ten hours this fall and winter. Baykeeper will provide free training and necessary materials. One-hour training sessions will be held around the Bay Area in September.

Volunteer Pollution Investigators will be key parts of Baykeeper’s Bay-Safe Industry campaign. We’re working to rein in a major source of pollution in San Francisco Bay—industrial storm water runoff.

This is a new volunteer opportunity and a key way to help make San Francisco Bay cleaner and healthier. For more information and to sign up as a Volunteer Pollution Investigator—click here.
