- reduce sewage spills in San Mateo County;
- set the stage to force a cleanup of the decaying Ghost Fleet in Suisun Bay; and
- advocate for the protection of fish and marine wildlife from destructive power plants around the Bay and Delta.

Baykeeper Summit on Abandoned Boats
Thursday, June 25, 1-5 pm

Baykeeper is sponsoring a summit on the issue of abandoned boats in the San Francisco Bay and Delta. We're helping bring together legislators, regulators, enforcement agencies, harbormasters and marina operators to discuss the challenges of addressing the environmental hazards caused by abandoned boats. If you're interested in helping us solve the Bay's abandoned boats problem, please RSVP to email@example.com.
Baykeeper is also sponsoring a bill that will help prevent abandoned vessels from polluting the Bay and Delta by encouraging responsible disposal. Get more information about Baykeeper's work to address pollution from abandoned boats.
Saturday & Sunday, June 20 & 21, 12-8 pm

SalmonAid is a free festival celebrating wild salmon and steelhead as an essential part of our culture, cuisine, economy and ecology. Come out for live music, delicious food and to learn about how to protect these important fish. Plus, a portion of the proceeds benefit our partner to the north, Klamath Riverkeeper.
You can also read more about a new report issued last week on the detrimental impacts of water diversions in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta on California's salmon. Read more about Baykeeper's work as part of a coalition fighting to protect the health of salmon in the Bay and Delta.
