The whole Orcem slag grinding cement factory ordeal is getting extremely tiresome and needs to be voted down by the Vallejo City Council. The only problem is several members of the council want to drag this on in order to be “fair” to Orcem. Their words, not mine. ... San Francisco Baykeeper, Napa Solano Audubon Society, Vallejo Commission for the Future, Sandy Beach Neighborhood Association, United Democrats Club of Solano County, Regional Asthma Management and Prevention (RAMP), International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Local 10 ... and the list goes on and on.
