Sunday, August 11, 2019 | San Francisco, CA
COURSE DETAILS: SUPers will launch from Pier 40 and be led by our course guides to the turnaround point between Pier 32 and Pier 38. SUPers will then paddle south to McCovey Cove. Paddlers will meet up with swimmers and boaters in McCovey Cove to join the Bay Parade finale. This finale is filmed and broadcast on the Jumbotron at the start of Sunday's Giants' home game. Following the finale, paddlers will return to Pier 40 to exit and return their gear to City Kayak. The paddle is approximately 2 miles and lasts 1.5 hours. Afterwards, SUP and kayak participants are invited to join the Bay Parade After Party where food and drinks will be available.
REGISTRATION & FUNDRAISING: Registration is $75 per participant and includes a SUP rental. Each paddler must also fundraise a minimum of $75, in addition to their registration fee. You will receive instructions once you register for setting up an online personal fundraising page. SUPers who have not fundraised the minimum $75 by August 5 will be asked to make a gift covering the difference in order to participate in the parade. But trust us, raising $75 is very achievable!
